PC games you wish were on PS3

Let's not kid ourselves here folks. We all know that there are certain games which have only been released on the PC, or at least have came out on the PC quite well in advance of the console release. Some are always just out of reach for console only gamers. So what are some games which you wish had came out on the PS3? What features could have been created for a PS3 port that would have benefited picking it up?

To be honest, I've never thought of a PC game that would be great on PS3, but I always think it would be great to have PS3 games on PC, heheh... honestly, most of the time a PC>PS3 port would be a downgrade, while a PS3>PC port would probably be an upgrade, see what I mean?

Pretty much how I feel. I love the playstation brand but some games on console really feel like they would benefit keyboard+mouse set up..

True, but I was thinking that maybe we could have a perfect world where it wasn't a downgrade, you know?

The biggest game for me has actually been launched on the PS3 in recent months – Minecraft. I've been wanting a console version of this (PS3 in particular) for the past few years. I'm astonished given it's popularity that it took so long, actually. Nope, it's not as extensive as the PC version but it's certainly not bad.

The only other one that I can think of is in Alpha stages at the moment – '7 Days To Die'. For those who haven't seen it, it's like a cross between Minecraft and early Resident Evil titles with zombies to kill. It's seriously addictive and would be another great indie/sandbox title ripe for console conversion.

Well the PC hasn't got that many exclusive nowadays anyway so I don't think there's much that I play on PC that isn't available on the PS3, I can think of Civilization V for example, but I honestly don't know how that could be adapted to be played using a controller.

I think most games that would say work well on PS3 have been ported. Games like Civ, ARMA and moba games is that I don't think they'd transition well onto the gamepad. Now I may be wrong but that is my personal opinion. I don't mind as I have a good PC too so I can enjoy my League of Legends and Counterstrike whenever I want :D.

I thought it had been announced for 3, 4 and Vita. Is it actually only PS4 and Vita? There's no reason for it to not be on PS3...

This is a quote from an interview with the director ed McMullen

Rebirth is the console, non-Flash remake of McMillen's gloomy roguelike, The Binding of Isaac, in development for Steam, PS4 and Vita. As for other platforms, McMillen says:

"The rest aren't out of the question. We would love to release on all systems; the ball is in their courts though. We miiiiight also test the game out on iPad and see how it works – if it works ok then we will also release there." McMillen would love to see Rebith on Nintendo 3DS, but that's not possible right now, he says.

"We want to release on 3DS, and will if given the option," McMillen writes. "Isaac currently goes against Nintendo's publishing rules due to its religious aspects. But stuff might change, you never know." He mentioned the religion issue regarding Nintendo in February 2012, but still called out 3DS and Wii U in November 2012 as platform goals.

Not really, the only PC games I fiddle with is Starcraft 2 & Diablo 3. Heck one is already on the PS3 and real-time strategy games usually don't work well on a console.

I can not honestly think of a single PC game that I want on any Playstation platform, I would say I enjoy what games are exclusive to either system and find that that they perform best on said system.

I don't wish any pc games were on the ps4 but I do really wish Demon Souls was on the pc. A real shame there's no way to play it on my computer :(

I think most PC gamers would agree with you there. Especially considering the servers for DS were taken off line a few years back. I mean, every game has to give up the ghost sooner or later, but it just seemed a little too quickly for their servers to be taken down. Probably trying to refurbish them for the greater numbers that Dark Souls was getting.

Is Castle Crashers on the PS3? I know it was on the Xbox, then PC, but I don't think it's on PS3. They Bleed Pixels and Dust Force would be fun to play with a PS3 controller. I don't play a ton of PC games, so I'm not the most qualified to answer.

A PC game series that I really wish was on the PS3 is Penumbra. Penumbra is by far one of my favorite horror survival game series of all time. It would be really nice if I were able to use an actual PlayStation dual shock controller rather than having to use a mouse and keyboard. It would be a nice change of pace to sit back on the couch and relax with a controller in my hand.

You know what would be sick? You know what's also never, ever going to happen? Morrowind HD version with some top quality mods. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything they could do to save that game from all the crashes.

I think I would love Diablo 3 on the PS3 because on the PC, it was just really about spamming a couple of spells over and over again. I think it would integrate into the PS3 very easily because of the fact that it wasn't very mouse depends with the accuracy. I think most other PC games would really integrate with PS3 very well because of the mechanics of the game and other things like that.

The servers for DeS were never taken down.

I think Castle Crashers came out on PS3 before PC. I think Dustforce came out for PS3 and Vita this year.
