    Japan kinda interested in next-gen

    I'm actually not a handheld fan, as I prefer large games with intense visuals and complicated simulations. I'm very excited for VR and what it might bring and have always been of the opinion that handheld games impede progress and slow down technological innovation.

    Yes, yes I am. I'd love to buy a PS4 but I'm hoping the cost for console, games and controllers drop before I do so. I really want to save money where I can because the budget has been really tight lately.

    Why wouldn't you? The internet is the most powerful tool in the world and I wouldn't have half of what I have if I hadn't learned how to master it.

    Do you own all three systems?

    This is where I get to brag. : D NES, Super NES, PS1, PS2, Xbox, PS3, Xbox 360, and hundreds (thousands?) of games in total, most of which were stolen by my deadbeat big brother and sold for pennies.

    Good to have you here! I come from more humble beginnings, having merely began on the NES, Super NES and PS1. Those were quite the days. I think the death of the disc will be the killing blow to consoles, as the more PC-like they become the fewer people will buy them. I'll miss discs...

    Vita vs 3DS. Which console do you think will end up with the most sales?

    I think that in the long run, the nintendo 3Ds is less "gimmick-y" and will continue to sell through the years. The Vita seems to thrive on hype and one day it will be all out. I'm sure there are some loyal buyers, but nintendo has an edge in that they're demographically universal.

    Would you sell your PS3 for a PS4?

    If you asked me that question today, I'd say no. But if you asked me that question 6 months+ from now I'd likely say yes. The reason is that there are no games on the PS4 yet, so it's not really viable at this point.
