    I love the PS4, but come on they really did this?

    My PS3 works fine on my home theater, but when I play a Bluray on the PS4, audio is only Linear PCM. I worked with PS customer service today & from what the guy said the PS4 does not support 7.1 only 5.1, so audio will default to Linear PCM. Doesn't make sense, will still dig some more, but why...

    Just got my PS4 , no games yet, so I watched a movie. My home theater receiver does not have HDMI so I use the optical ports. Seem that the PS4 does not support either Dolby or DTS 7.1 so the audio comes out Linear PCM. Called customer support yep maybe on the next software update....you have...
