It would be nice if a future update for the media remote would allow you to remap the dedicated app buttons (netflix, youtube etc) to start other apps. I have several free streaming apps on my ps5 and this would be really convenient.

Does the media remote actually have a microphone in it? It does voice control the ps5, so why couldn't Sony update software to allow voice to text function on other app such as voice search on Youtube?

Well I tried setting the ps5 to 1080p instead of auto and it seems to work. Although only time will tell if it will continue to work. I am still considering getting a uhd cable 30 ft long. I do know that the longer the cable the more a signal is attenuated. 30 feet is the shortest I can get away...
