I am using the Dark Souls Darkwraith theme which I grabbed from the JP PSN store. I basically have a pitch black background with a fleshstache dick serpent idling around.

All the mentions of Amnesia... I've never played that and I'm probably too much of a wuss to ever get around to it, but I did see a (the?) monster's design and thought he looked goofy as hell more than scary. I don't particularly enjoy the "you're powerless and have to hide/run" type of horror...

Heh, guess I'm the only one that thinks that BL2 Vita is a serviceable port. It's flawed, sure, but it works fine for what it is... then again, really not worth buying a Vita over, unless you buy the bundle and want the Vita for indies and niche Japanese games.

I'm gonna be starting up the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, with MGS2. Though I will be playing on 360, since I got it on 360 before I even had a PS3... I do wish I had the HDC on PS3, but I ain't double dipping.

I don't think the Vita is a sinking ship. It just is losing its mass appeal by becoming an indie and Japanese games machine. Which is alright by me, honestly, but very niche. Unlike the PSP, the Vita doesn't keep making me think about "wow it would be nice if THAT were getting localized"...

I never played through Abe's Odyssey. It looks cool, I might grab the remake. I do have Stranger's Wrath on Vita and I've played it a little. It's very good, but I just haven't felt like diving into it yet.

The port has some definite issues. Less enemies at a time than on the console/PC versions, framerate isn't that great (though still playable) and there's random crashes (though it has only crashed once for me). It would be worthwhile if you could find it cheap, it's not worth the full $40 price...

Sackboy is fairly unique... though I would agree he's not mascot-worthy either. I think the thing is that they haven't even tried to create a mascot at all.
