I'd have to agree. Muscles atrophy when they aren't used. OP should just get back into gaming, and try to find the fun in it.

I couldn't finish it because it was a little too graphic for me, but even as someone who had to put it away, I have to admit it's an awesome game. If you can handle the content, it's probably worth renting a PS3 for a weekend just to play it.

As the others have covered, there is no backwards compatibility, and the PS4 for games is region free. If you want to use the machine for other media, however, you will have to purchase region appropriate products.

I hope we can get something more about the Uncharted game, and maybe a release window. Maybe some new details on FFXV, KH3, etc. Of course, the new exclusive IPs are what I want to see the most, but it's hard to speculate on those. Maybe Sucker Punch has a surprise for us?

The Lego series of games are usually pretty fun and approachable. I've heard good things about this one in particular; is your wife enjoying it? Is it worth checking out?

...and all I have to say is, "Why did I wait so long?" I knew this was going to be the game that made me forget everything, but dang, it's awesome. I love how they don't wait to give you the awesome parkour stuff, and the training missions never feel like they're teaching you the game. Sorry...

I know I'm going rogue with this one, but I have to say Earthbound. I've been waiting so long for that darn sequel, and I know it will never happen. But a guy has to dream, right?

I stole it from a NPC in FFXI, Abquhbah. It was simple, easy to type in on the stupid gamepad interface, and no one else I've seen has used anything close to it. So it's stuck around for a while.

I'd save for a little longer. I consider the PS3 to be an amazing device, far more than just a gaming console. I'd hang on to it for the games alone, but what we've done in the house is attach the PS3 and PS4 to different TVs so that both have internet connected machines. It's wonderful.

Haven't broken mine yet. I've had it for over six years now, no complaints, no issues. The only system I had to go through multiple of was the Gamecube, but that's probably from overuse, haha.

The early adopters always pave the way for the general consumer. I think Sony should keep the price where it's at, and use those profits to push out a greater library, so that in a few years when the price drop does hit, it will appeal to more people. To drop the price on the PS4 now would be...

I think that these companies are going to take it a little slower with the 4k stuff. Almost everybody got burned with rushing to get 3DTVs into homes. Almost everyone on the frontlines of that tech are backing away now. I hope 4k makes it, but only time will tell.

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to this one. I've played the previous versions, but I'm not sure if they can innovate any more then they have. Changing the setting isn't enough for me.
