I'm thinking we will see a price decrease around the holidays, 2017. It's such a popular system right now and there is a high demand for consoles. I don't see that demand dropping for at least another two or three years.

If it's under 20 hours, I'll be pretty disappointed. I'm a primarily offline player, and I think lately games have been shipped with great online experiences. They keep forgetting to cater to the older guys like me, I guess.

I use mine for streaming video far more than I do for gaming, and I game a lot. We recently dumped cable, but that's another story for another time. The web service on PS3 is abysmal. Avoid it, lol.

Will it ever die, really? The other features of a PS3 are pretty awesome. Asking when a catch-all device like the PS3 will die is like asking when Blu-Rays or Netflix will die. I'll use my PS3 for other things long after the gaming support ends.
