I have to go with the consensus on this one the 3DS FTW. I absolutely love mine. Love the fact that I can play such classic game franchises. The Vita may be a much higher tech system, but as Lucas said, the big problem with the Vita, like the PSP, was lack of amazing, kick butt games.

I could see them releasing a collection for the PS4, similar to when they released the God of War games in a collection. As Onison said, it's a must play game. You don't NEED to play the previous games though.

I doubt that they will widely sell a different colored console. They haven't in the past, so this would definitely surprise me if they started.

You can try to do what Tloc51 stated and see if that fixes it, but honestly? You just spent a lot of money on the system. Best to call Sony and have them send you a new one and return your current system to them. It's not worth trying to "fix" it and end up out of warranty with a broken system...

Contact Sony ASAP. The motherboard is going bad. Best to get that replaced while it is still under warranty. Why don't you try playing a match of extinction, king of the hill, or whatever with a friend in your party and have them tell you if he can hear you and your brother? That would be the quickest way to see if your mics are working on their end IMO.
