Rate the last PS4 game you finished!

I have a problem with completing games fully. I think the last game I beat the whole story mode was Super Smash Bros Brawl. I also finished off my brother's game in Modern Warfare 2 when he moved out and left his system behind. But yeah, there are tons of games in my library still waiting to...

Final Tally - PS4 Outsells Xbox One "By A Longshot"

I'm rooting for the PS4, I like how cheap it is and I loved their exclusives on the last generation. When I get a hold of some money I'm definitely buying one. I'd like to believe that Microsoft is getting crushed in sales, but we won't get official figures for a little while yet.

The scariest enemies you've ever faced in a Playstation game

Probably the Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. My first encounter with it frightened the crap out of me. It was so fast, I was running from screen to screen to try and escape it but I never found out how to beat it.

    Same problems as 3?

The real question is how they're integrating the ship element. A new game mechanic always poses significant questions to a game franchise. Now, I haven't played it yet; the game is still very young. But from what I've heard, they've done away with a lot of the mistakes they made in III.

    Should Microsoft Sell Xbox?

That's not something I can see happening. Who would have the money and want to buy it and have the resources to continue it at the highest quality? Not much comes to mind.

Do you keep your games forever?

It takes a very particular situation for me to part with a game. For example there's a Best Buy trade-in offer right now where any 360, PS3, or Wii game can be traded for CoD: Ghosts, BF4, or the new Assassin's Creed. Normally if I wanted a new game and had a few old games worth trading in, I'd...

Activision Says Price Drops For PS4 Could Come Sooner

Yeah, I see how manufacturing costs being cheaper could affect the prices. Yet Sony and Microsoft are still businesses. They will drop their prices when they see sales taking a plunge.

Battlefield 4 was 18.03 at walmart last night

Unless they value customer relations. They probably won't lose a lot of money from it ***uming they honor it. But if they set a price and they don't follow through on it their reputation takes a ding. I'm not saying they won't cancel all the orders and force the full price on everyone, but that...

What is your opinion? Xbox vs. PlayStation.

Unfortunately, the new PlayStation will introduce a subscription to access their online gaming services. So if that's your only reason to prefer it over Xbox you might need a new one. Personally, I prefer Sony's exclusives, although the launch day lineup looks lacking on both sides. PS4 is...

    Who still likes the Wii

At this point it's outdated. WiiU improved on a lot of things. That being said, I still play Super Smash Bros Brawl because that game is just timeless in its own right. But right now, the mainstream focus is on the current generation of consoles.

Should my friend get a PS3 now?

Don't forget, they will still be releasing new games on the PS3 for a while. The last PS2 game was released on September 24, 2013. PS4 will take a while to truly take off with triple-A exclusives that utilize the console's power. So, there is a lot of time to enjoy the PS3 still. I'm not the...

What do you consider Sony's "flagship" series?

Metal Gear Solid is an IP that has been with Sony for a very long time. Final Fantasy has been there as well but has some history with Nintendo. When I think PlayStation, I definitely think MGS. God of War is another exclusive that contributes to the console's identity, but it doesn't go all the...

    Playstation 4 Design?

It's a pretty simple design, sharp edges and all. I don't find it looks like the Xbox One. That system is a lot more of a rectangular prism design, while the PS4 has more diagonal surfaces. I don't have very high expectations for the appearance of a console, so I have no complaints.

    PS1 vs N64

There is a certain unbridled greatness about the N64. So many cl***ic games that will go down in the annals of history as great innovations in gaming. PS1 has its own titles that hold weight in the realm of greatness, but hardly any can compete for "greatest of all time" like many N64 titles can.

What superhero do you want to see a game made about?

I thought the X-men: Legends series was very well built, with interactive environments and a great system of leveling up. Combo specials were also very fun. If anything, I would love to see a modernized return to that game franchise, as I see a lot of potential with current-gen graphics and...

    Legacy Of The PS3

It leaves behind something to be desired, as I feel like we never saw it at its full capability. The Last of Us was a great saving grace from all the bad that could be said. But on the whole, it was a great system with great games, and several innovative exclusives from launch all the way to...

Best game of the year so far?

Grand Theft Auto 5 has great reason to be in contention, but when I look at The Last of Us I see a very original game that hits the ball out of the park in every aspect. GTAV had the luxury of building off of a very stable base of fans, a franchise formula that has already proven to be...

PS4 edition will be the same as Xbox 360 version.

I was hoping for something to distinguish it from its previous-generation counterpart. Oh well. It's the kind of game that they can release updates for anyways, and if the popularity of Minecraft is any indication, we'll be seeing just that.

    Being A Gaming Tester

A teacher I had in high school detailed his brief experience as a video game tester. He said that it wasn't very enjoyable. The object was to find every possible glitchy situation in every corner of every room of the game. Hours and hours of just walking his character into walls. Didn't sound...

Quality of PC Games vs Console Games?

With PC's you have a lot of control over the parts. There is a lot of paraphernalia that can be purchased to improve the graphic quality of the games. With consoles you don't have that customization.
