    Favorite video games character

Give me Tropius, the flying grass Pokemon with bananas growing out of its neck, any day of the week :p As for an actual character, I'm pretty fond of Barrett from Final Fantasy VII. He's got that attitude that straddles the line between bad-ass and hilarious. The whole gun-for-a-hand thing is a...

Nobody are waiting for Call Of Duty Ghost ?

I wouldn't quite call it dead. Dying, perhaps. It's certainly losing a lot of its luster. But the sales are as strong as they've ever been, no? I know Ghosts doesn't have a lot of hype attached to it, perhaps because it doesn't have "Modern Warfare" or "Black Ops" in its name. It's still far...

Are you going to buy BF 4?

I am not looking to get it as it was never a series that I felt encouraged to invest in. However, I will be trying the open beta to see if it can convince me otherwise. I have a feeling my mind is already made at this point, but at the very least I will give it some game play to determine that.

    GTA Online microtransactions confirmed

Well, if you're going to make the most profitable video game series of all time, you might as well cover all your bases. I'm a little disappointed and I hope the game play doesn't overtly favor those who shelled out more dough. I doubt it will be too unfair though.

    Favorite Call Of Duty?

Black Ops was really cool, it was the first CoD game I got to play with attack dogs. Those guys are awesome, even if it's a challenge to get 11 kills in a row. The maps were also pretty cool, I liked the Cuban environments as well as the standard snowy-Russia fare.

Battlefield 4 beta dates (closed beta October 1st and open beta October 4th)

Nice. I'll be looking to try it out on the PC. I have to admit though, it's going to take something quite stunning to convince me to buy it. These FPS games are becoming quite garden-variety, and other than the destructible environments and the vehicles, there isn't a lot to make BF stand out.

If you could only choose one PS4 launch title, what would it be?

I would have to put my vote down for Watchdogs. I love games that strive to be ambitious and innovative, and looking at the trailers, Watchdogs looks to offer just that. There is something very uniquely appealing about game mechanics that have not been explored before, like hacking into a...

    The announcement of the SteamOS

I'm not sure if this would go under PC gaming, seeing as Valve has just announced an Operating System that is fully intended for the living room and not the desktop. With two major Valve announcements upcoming in this week, speculation is rampant that they will finally announce a foray into the...

Do you or anyone you know own a "fight stick"?

I'm of course referring to the arcade-style third-party controllers that people buy to use for their fighting games. I have more than a few friends who use it for games like BlazBlue, Street Fighter, and DOA. I like the idea of using traditional arcade inputs as it's easier to execute combos...

Who else is highly anticipating Beyond: Two Souls?

It comes out in about two weeks on October 8th. There doesn't seem to be a lot of buzz going for it right now, possibly due to the hype and afterglow of GTA V's release (and who should dispute them conquering headlines the same way they have conquered sales?). Quantic Games gave us one of the...

    Ever trade your games?

There's a couple of reasons why I never trade in my games. The most important is the collector's aspect. Even if the games are trash and will invariably be worth nothing, they have a place among with other games as a piece of a library. The second reason is that the value isn't worth the...

How many PS3 consoles have you been through?

If I have one thing to say about 3rd party controllers, it's to never buy them. You get what you pay for -- a cheap imitation with horrible feel and an almost completely useless turbo button. My friend is still on his original two, though I suspect he's been alternating to keep them in good...

    Deep Down to be free-to-play

If you literally mean "free to play" in the conventional sense, I could easily name lots of games. If you mean "F2P" games that base their profits on micro-transactions, then I would advise you to check out WarFrame. I've heard good things about that game, albeit not without a share of...

Some Xbox One games you would like to see on PS4.

If Titanfall is ported to PS4 then I pretty much have no reason to buy the Xbox One. I'm quite done with the Halo series. If I can be convinced that Dead Rising 3 will have more than just its standard offerings (I know they've improved the map size exponentially), then maybe I'd like to see Sony...

PS4 Will support External Capture Card Recording via HDMI!

I find it fantastic that Sony is empowering the customers with streaming capabilities. First is their partnering with Twitch, now external capture card support. They are really propping up the streaming community with their features.

    PS3-to-PS4 games upgrade offer detailed

It's certainly not as consumer-oriented as you think either. They will profit from this initiative. That's all that matters to them.

Analyst expects GTAV on Xbox One, PS4 in 2014

Hmm. I wonder, will it be worth waiting for? Will it come out on PC before it moves to next generation? I'm still quite keen on buying it for 360.

    Game prices

That's rather unfortunate. For fully-fledged games to cost that much, I wouldn't want them to be handheld, I would want them to be on my television set. Hopefully this isn't a representation of average costs and just an example of an overpriced game.

33 games in 2013; 180 in development for the PS4

Simply exceptional. Here's to hoping that one of this year's games is a Naughty Dogs release. I can't seem to get enough of what they put out.

    PS3-to-PS4 games upgrade offer detailed

I see it as more of a cash grab, it looks like they want people to buy the same game twice. Perhaps most people are wise to their intentions, which would explain why the price is "only" 10 dollars. I don't seem to recall people griping because they owned a game on a previous-generation console...
