I played the original Strider on NES and arcade...the arcade version was far better, but I loved the game regardless. I'm stoked that there will be a revival of the series. I've been saying Capcom needs to get some of their old series out.

I found FarCry 2 fun initially then I noticed a some routines which "When Games Suck" explained pretty simply. I liked the gun jam mechanic, didn't mind malaria, but I did hate that missions were generally way across the map.

Tape on anything hideous. Even clear scotch tape.

I'd say even that other 50% isn't much since most tactical RPGs are just JRPGs where you actually move around a battlefield grid by grid. If you've played any of the games SXB mentioned, you have a general grasp of tactical RPGs.

The PS2/Xbox/GC/DC generation was more of an exploratory period for internet. That was a time juuuust before some higher speed internet came out and a bit before it became widely affordable.

LSD really is an utterly weird game. I usually play until I get to the violence district. That's my favorite part in the game, but it's seemingly random.
