I tend to cross my arms and shake my head at the games that are hot. Just like "No. I'm not gonna" I eventually do because you hear just too much about the game. That was the case with Dark Souls and The Last of Us.

Yeah remakes and reboots are fine. Sometimes you luck up on a good one like when they kicked off Prince of Persia, brought back Strider, and I believe went with a new Altered Beast. There was also another Master System game that was remade for either PS2 or PS3 and wasn't too hot.

A mashup is a good way of putting it. Sometimes another game's mechanics or setup would just fit the idea you're going with for your game and sometimes your company might deliver a better game with another franchise's mechanics than that franchise. Hell, God of War delivered harder than Rygar...

Exactly. I mean I prefer physical for home consoles, but since I take my 3DS everywhere I go with digital. It works, really.

If half or even a quarter of that 100 were just from Sony that would be massive. As to Haze's pondering on how many will new franchises and exclusives, I see a few being exclusives and maybe half being new franchises with less than half continuing and being an actual series.

For portable digital makes sense to me and I figure it would be higher than 48% as it's just convenient given that you're moving around constantly and would like to move from game to game when bored.

I would be more excited for motion controls that take into account impact and resistance. Like even if you had to get a motion control vest or whatever to mimic impact or whatever. It would require way more effort than they ran with last generation.

I'm digging that it's single player only. Some games do extremely well with multiplayer and are even made for online multiplayer while others works as purely single player, but get online multiplayer tacked on just because.

I think Nintendo just moved on from it than flat out giving up on it. Like they did it, they did it the best, and said "Okay everyone, we're moving away from motion control, we need to find something else for the industry to play with" at a time when Sony and Microsoft were trying to figure it...

I have PS3 and 360 and I feel the same, Nuke. There are some games I play on 360 mainly because I found them for cheaper for that console than PS3 at a particular time, so that's the good thing there.

I prefer remakes to remasters. When you get a remake, sometimes it's the case of taking a game that is old and would technically be new since it hadn't been heard of for 10 years--like Rygar.
