"PS4 Is Not Allowed To Fail", Says SCE President

I think it's just about impossible for either Sony's or Microsoft's systems to fail at this point, barring a gigantic flaw that somehow made it into the development of the system. Both have so much hype around them, I see one or both shattering previous sales records.

PS4 Unboxing By The Team At PS4Forum.com!

That is a mighty pretty machine. Please do make more vids, I think there's some potential there. I have some experience with video editing, should you need any advice or help.

Xbox Congratulates Sony On PS4 Launch

That is really nice. As much as they might compete, both companies have pretty good systems, as well as fans on either side. They are both going to make a lot of money and change gaming for the better, which benefits everyone. That's actually a really classy move. Good job, Microsoft.

How much money have you spent on your PS3 games?

I always try to buy used. I'm patient enough to not have to buy a game immediately, and frugal enough where I don't like spending $60. And I love finding gems I haven't played for under 20 bucks. So, in my game collection, I've maybe spent $200 for 15-20 games?

What do you consider Sony's "flagship" series?

I don't know about a flagship series, but I think Naughty Dog has become a flagship developer for PS.

    Rockstar's first PS4 contribution?

I've heard rumors about a RDR2, but I don't know if I've seen anything confirmed. RDR is still the one game I can pick up anytime and play through multiple times, discovering something new each time.

What new game are you looking forward to most?

If you had asked me this even 15 minutes ago, I wouldn't have known, but I just caught the new trailer for Watchdogs. I am now incredibly excited for that. It's going to be my first purchase.

What kind of game could benefit from a larger open world?

I would love to see some superhero games in the open-world mindset of GTA. Huge, huge maps and various people and missions to run into.

    Racing games

I usually don't play racing games, but I got the Burnout demo, just the demo, and spent hours playing that thing. Next paycheck I am thinking I need to pick that game up.

If you buy games based on ratings, why?

Yes and no. Ratings give me a springboard, an idea of whether or not I'd like it. Ultimately, the numbers don't matter too much to me, the reviews are the things I look at. What are the negatives, what are the positives, and can I overlook the negatives and have a good gaming experience. If I...

    Catherine?

This was an odd game, I kind of liked it. If you aren't into games that don't change much, this isn't for you. The whole thing is essentially the same. But I really like games I have a choice in -- where I can choose to be bad or good and it has an impact on the end result.

Do you keep your games forever?

I keep a select few games that I either like picking up from time to time or I like showing friends. Often though once I'm done, I have no problem selling them.

Do you drink tap water or bottled water?

I drink tap, but my girlfriend buys bottled water like nobody else. I'm trying to convince her to buy the refillable ones, because bottled water is really bad for the environment.

Most replayed game of all time?

Hands down, Red Dead Redemption. I may have played through that five or six times. I never get tired of that game, and I notice new things every single time.

    Who still likes the Wii

It's got a certain charm that you can't really find with any other gaming system. Problem is, some people were perfectly happy with just the sports disc that came with the Wii. I don't own one but I love to play it when I go to a friend's.

What is your opinion? Xbox vs. PlayStation.

Well, what kinds of games does your husband like? There's a couple of exercise games for the PS3 -- to replace that Zumba game of yours. I have a friend with the games Get Fit with Mel B and The Fight: Lights Out. But what does your husband like? Shooters? Sports? Role Playing?

Should my friend get a PS3 now?

It depends. There is the benefit of it being cheaper, and so are the games, and there are some quality titles out for the PS3 right now. But also remember that all that cash spend on the 3 and games could go to a 4...

Are You Okay With The Prices Of Video Games Today?

Console prices are quite high right now. But think about how much goes into the average one. Trailers and websites and billboards and apps for your phone that tie into them. They're going to be pricey and there's not a whole lot we can do about it -- aside from games like Payday 2, which I think...

What do you think of the new Dualshock4 controller?

I hope the share button asks you for a confirmation if you press it. If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally pressed a button on the controller I didn't mean to, like the PS button...
