At the end of the day, it's a business. It would be awesome to simply upgrade consoles rather than buying new ones every 6-7 years. However, that would cut revenues for companies significantly.

Nice to see that I wasn't the only child with anger problems when playing games haha. I have also broken a number of controllers from overuse as well. With the price of controllers now a days, I could never afford to break controllers like that.

I think the better question is, who could make a good video game movie. There are tons of games that could be good movies. Nobody has been able to really master the video game movie though.

I would love to see Toy Story. Wreck It Ralph would be cool, but I don't expect it to have any of the other video game characters in it. My guess is that KH3 will draw heavily from the Pixar movies. They have done a lot of the original films.

I've heard that you can't beat mouse and keyboard, but it is not for me. I am a classic controller kinda guy. I'm sure if I played more PC games I would appreciate the mouse and keyboard configuration more, but sadly, that is not the case.

Definitely a great point. Nintendo lives off of its first party games. Sony, not so much. They have Uncharted, but that is ultimately a console game. They need to find that killer app that makes you have to have the Vita. They need an experience that you can't get anywhere except on Vita.

Have you ever gotten so mad at a game that you've broken controller? I have, but surprisingly not any of my Sony controllers. I remember I would toss my Dual Shock 2 across the room when I would get upset playing DBZ Budokai 2 on PS2. I still get mad at games, but I don't throw controllers...

No I agree with you wholeheartedly. The 3DS's library is more appealing to me. It is interesting because people complained about the 3DS's library at the beginning. The 3DS recovered from this, but the Vita hasn't been as lucky.

I have just started seeing these new Battlefield 4 commercials. They are a perfect example of why I generally don't like video game commercials. The guys are on these commercials talking as if they were in this real life war scene. It is cringe worthy.

I think stories can be important, but aren't necessary. Gameplay is what is most important. If the game sin't fun to play, nobody is going to get to the end to complete the story. Games like Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon prove this point. These games basically regurgitate a similar story ever time...
