I like the vibration feature, but I have noticed that the battery does last somewhat longer if it is turned off. Of course not all games use the vibration feature, and some games use it too much! It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an option to choose what part of the game the vibration is active...

I think because it is an option, then I have no quarrels with that. If it was mandatory, then that would of course be a big problem. Is it confirmed that this will be a default setting? I'm sure Sony will give us this as an option and not something that has to be abided by.

I think PS3 was perhaps a little over hyped, but in the end they delivered a great console in my opinion. I think perhaps the PS2 was more popular just because of the year it was released, technology is moving so quick that these days people own many other gadgets and perhaps gaming consoles too...
