    I'm asking about video and music I already have and will continue to get. I have Direct TV.. will it hold and play AVI, MP4, MP3s, Flac and so on. can it be networked to a server holding these files?

    Can a PS4 be used are a media provider in family room.. meaning store avi, mp4 movies , music and whatever and play them? what about networking to another PC that holds these files like a server?
