Battlefield 4 finally lets you join a squad with friends

YES FINALLY! You will be able form a squad (aka party up ala CoD games I guess..lol) and then join a game.
Man,this is great news.

Squad Join is currently in Beta and available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It allows you to set up a squad for up to five players before joining a multiplayer game. The squad will join the game together and remain together over rounds.

“This is something we know our fans have been asking for – and something we wish we could have provided at launch – so we are now happy to present the first iteration of Squad Join,” DICE said.

I have no idea why is was not included from the off is bizarre considering it was in 3.
