Battlefield 4 Premium

Oberon

, , The Enforcer, ,
Has anyone bought BF4 Premium?

If I were to buy premium now,am I able to get previous unlocked content? Or some? Or only from when I get premium?

Do you think its worth it? Depends on how much you play I guess but other than what cool stuff do you get in battlepacks and gold battlepacks?

I bought the Premium not to long ago. The only real benefits to it is early access to new map packs, camouflages, quicker entry into games and more options for customizing your gamer picture. I don't regret paying for premium considering if you were to pay for each map pack you would end up paying $10 more in the long run.

Thanks for reply.

But what about those battlepacks? And if I were to get premium now do you know if I would have access previous premium unlocks?

You get some battlepacks and stuff, like you get one free Gold Battlepack a month for 12 months. Also these features I'm going to post for you.

Free access to all DLC and expansion packs
Exclusive Battlefield 4 weapons and items
Server queue priority in multiplayer
New Battlelog features
Exclusive awards (ribbons and medals)
Double XP weekends once a month or so
New dog tags, assignments, awards, etc.
Exclusive strategy guides and videos on Battlelog
Additional unlocks
New skins and camos for all classes
Ability to reset your stats if you want a fresh start

Cheers, but as I said,if I were to get premium now, would I only the one battlepack a month from now on or would I also get the previous ones that were already released, same as any camo's etc or other unlocks.

Seems logical, just like if you buy a season pass on CoD games, but BF seems to have diff things as well so just wanted to check, cheers for that.

Hmm,I like the idea of it all,but I still havent invested much time into BF4,guess Im just so used to CoD,BF games are just quite different.
Still thinking about it but I am tempted.

I bit the bullet and bought premium.
Some extra camo and paint as well as tog tags etc etc.Nice. Look forward to those monthly gold battlepacks now :o
Downloading the China Rising map pack now, looking forward to trying those maps out.

Lately Ive been playing a few games of Ghosts and BF4 each,I do like both and still getting used to BF4 and how that whole BF thing works but Im starting to like it more and more.

I also just dropped for premium the other day. Was pleasantly surprised by all the extra content. But it still feels expensive for what you get. At half the price I think it would be spot on.

As its been previously mentioned. You don't actually save much on the costs of the DLC's if purchased separately. And many of the premium perks are merely cosmetic, and don't offer any real in game advantage.

Getting priority in game queues is pretty sweet though. Kinda like skipping the queue at the movies lol. You just feel a little special ;-)

It should be 30 dollars to be honest, at most 40. The content is great but it's not as fluid and why the hell should I pay for dlc then wait for it then I get hit by a bus and die and that money never gets used.. just kidding. Knock on wood :O

Here in AUS its AUD $75. I know some people here in AUS buy the US copy and then get premium from US store.
And yeah, the little extras are cool I agree, premium tags and camo/paint etc.
And monthly gold battelpacks are always nice too for more.

So what I'm gathering from you guys' posts is that premium is really only worthwhile if I plan on playing the game all the way through its lifespan. Sounds like a good investment on my part to have not bought it in my opinion, amazing as the campaign was, it really didn't impress me with the multiplayer. Hopefully all those who do buy premium get all its worth though.

Erm..I wouldnt say the SP campaign was impressive,I mean it looks good mostly and all but as for the story etc it was so so..not bad,but not great.
As for premium, well since Ive bought it I did play a few times but I have'nt played the game now for a week or so. Hope I didnt waste my money :p
