DICE confirms Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 player statistics will carry over to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the military shooter.

DICE today announced that Battlefield 4 player statistics will carry over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4.

"We got your back," DICE said in a statement.

The announcement comes on the same day that Activision revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts player statistics, as well as downloadable content, will be transferable between console generations.

Good news I guess. I'm only a rather casual Battlefield 4 player (much prefer 1943) but I know that there are a lot of people that have invested a lot of time and money into the game so it is goo to see it carrying over.
