best RPG (easy but fun)

So I'm just getting the PS 5 tomorrow.
I'm an oldster who occasionally games. mostly on PC and have an Oculus. I loved the Doom Series, and the very old Bards tale.
Is there any RPGs that are set in Medieval times that have some shooting, but I dont have to have 1100 button combinations to enjoy?
