So last month I read a preview on a game called The Evil Within. It seemed interesting enough – monstrous Butchers, dark and bloody halls, a dark nightmare version of the world. So far, so good. But now I find that this is a team-up between Bethsheda and Shinji Mikami. In some ways this makes this game completely irresistible. I mean – the world is going to be great because Bethsheda. And the scares are sure to be there because Shinji Mikami. Considering real AAA horror games have been scarce on the ground for the last while this is great news for me. That said it’s going to be available for everything except the WiiU so I don’t know how that’s going to affect things. At best this just means the PS4 and Xbone aren’t going to show off much, at worse this means the gameplay is going to get nerfed. That said I cannot wait for this.
