"Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition" may be on its way! [CONFIRMED!]

UPDATE: It is official. 2K and Gearbox have announced Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition, coming October 8th in US and October 11th in Europe.

I think we all saw this coming sooner or later, but it looks like there will indeed be a "Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition" incoming.

The tidbit comes from a "GameStop source" according to IGN. The GOTY edition will include:

- Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty
- Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage
- Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
- Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
- Creature Slaughter Dome
- Premiere Club Content:
- Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class
- Gearbox Gun Pack
- Golden Key
- Vault Hunter's Relic
- Krieg, the Psycho Character Class
- Collector’s Edition Heads and Skins
- Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1

Who here will be grabbing this edition? (granted it becomes a reality) Or is it a little too late?

I'm a little annoyed as I bought all the DLC only a couple of weeks ago! Ah well.

...was it really surprising? I didn't bought the game exactly because of this. I just hope that the recently announced PSVita port will be this one and not the vanilla version.

The Vita version NEEDS to be the Game of the Year Edition or it's screwed. That's all I'm hoping for, that's all I can think about. I need the Vita version, too, by the way. Portable BL2 on Vita is something I've been asking for since I got a Vita.
