Borderlands

I recently finished it, and played it co-op (2 of us) all the way through. I liked it overall, but that's mostly because I had someone to play it with. Playing alone probably wouldn't be too good with this game. I really didn't know what to think of it at first. Borderlands is like what would happen if Call of Duty met Fallout I guess. Sort of. It's fairly unique. The main characters seemed fairly well balanced. I played as Roland and my brother played as Mordecai, which worked pretty well with me on shotguns and him on sniper rifles.

Don't think we'll start a new file. But we haven't done the DLC yet so we'll probably do that eventually. Might get Borderlands 2, but don't know yet. What do you guys think about Borderlands?

Borderlands and Borderlands 2 are great (I like the second better). But I agree that this game is much better if you are playing with a friend or even strangers.

You should definitely play Borderlands 2. The game is great, especially the funky graphics. If you have any doubts on playing Borderlands 2, don't. Go play it.

I really liked the first borderlands, until the moment i tried to get the trophies... DLC included... and my save file got corrupt 2 times because of blackouts, which made me lost around 70 hours of progress total.

I now hate the series.

Well, I will definitely get Borderlands 2 then. Most of what I have heard has been positive, and I do have my brother to play with, so it should be fun anyway! Thing is, when I first played Borderlands, I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't read any reviews beforehand so I didn't know much, except that I had heard of it before. I didn't even realize it was an alien planet until a little way through the game! (I thought it was post-apocalyptic earth. Not that there was much of a story I guess...) But yeah, I definitely give Borderlands 2 a shot.

I like it by myself, but it's like an entirely different game when you play co-op. Some of my favorite gaming memories are from times when I've played alongside friends. I also love shared experience because it sets a common goal for the group. Borderlands is one of the best co-op games I've played in a very long time.

I have to say that after reading this post I'm going to have to go out and get myself a copy of borderlands. I was always pretty curious about the game, but seeing such positive reviews has just convinced me.
