Controller speaker problem

The problem I am having is I have went into devices and turned the volume control for the speaker right down (altho the little speaker symbol to the left of the control is still highlighted) but people im playing with or against are saying that the noise feeding from me is incredibly loud.

I dont have a headset plugged in.

Any assistance would be great as this really seems to be annoying everyone im playing with.
