Counterspy looks great, plays poorly

You know what, i am excited for this game. When IGN says a game plays poorly, it's most likely because they had monkeys play the game. God Hand got bad reviews because "the controls sucked and it was too hard" and The Wonderful 101 recently got also bad reviews because "it has confusing action and hard controls".

I think IGN was never a good source of anything more than screenshots and videos that ain't reviews.

I agree with BlackSolaris here. I saw the topic title and I was disappointing, but then I se that it was IGN so it just... didn't matter. I wouldn't care if it had been Jim Sterling either. I like Jim Sterling and some of the hilarious crap he does but I just don't agree with most of his reviews.

Still looking forward to Counterspy, really hope it does turn out good.

It doesn't look that good I must admit. There again, if it plays good I will buy it. I never go with IGN for reviews. I base it on gameplay footage and personal decisions. If it is cheap and looks good I will get it, if not then I won't.

You guys do realize that not only is this just a preview (because the game hasn't come out yet), but he made some seriously relevant calls here: being tracked into cover, not being able to melee, not being able to stealth kill, not being able to shoot while under cover, etc. Those are serious issues for any game, but especially a stealth game. Just because it comes from IGN doesn't mean you ignore it just because.
