DC Cinematic Universe

With the release of Man of Steel, it seems as though Warner Bros. have finally decided to go ahead and get started building their own cinematic universe with their DC characters as Marvel have been doing for the past 5 years. The question though is if it will actually work. The thing that I think is holding them back is the tone they have established through Man of Steel. The dark tone I feel won't work for all the DC characters. I mean I honestly can't imagine a Flash movie that is as bleak as Man of Steel was. Hopefully at Comic Con we will hear more announcements regarding Warner Bros. plan for a DC cinematic universe.

Next movie will be Batman/Superman team up. I would post the link, but I need at least 30 posts :/ Someone else can get the link until I get enough, It should be easy enough to find.

Personally, I would have liked a Batman movie set in the new universe before a team up but eh.

As for the bleakness... I think that it could be an interesting differentiator to the Marvel universe's "Fun atmosphere".

You guys know how much I love Man of Steel. And you would think I'd be up for a Batman/Superman film and in a way I am, but in a bigger way I think it's too soon. I would of loved a Man of Steel 2 with JUST Superman as I feel his story needs to be developed more before another DC character is involved. I feel this idea what of best suited a third film. And another thing is I wish it was the two of them teaming up, not against each other which is what the reveal at comic-con teased. I don't know, that's just me. It's Man of Steel 2 so I'm just happy that my favourite movie gets a sequel
