Demo is out, try it! It's fantastic.

So the demo for Toukiden is out in, at least, US and JP PSN (not sure about EU, can an European say if its out?) and I definitely recommend to all of you that you give it a shot. This is, IMO, the next big exclusive game for the Vita. It is very similar to Monster Hunter, yet it also possesses enough new things to make it unique, such as the Magatama system which allows each player to have a unique style and to specialize on certain things, be it defense, speed, attack or whatever else.

It is much more actiony, I guess, than Monster Hunter, which I love. Much faster paced and with less micromanagement going on but it has a very similar weapon crafting system that seems to be as deep as recent MH games.

So yeah, give it a shot, even if you dislike Monster Hunter. I'm not a big fan of Monster Hunter, personally, but Toukiden was truly enjoyable to me based on just this (actually fairly long) demo.

I will give it a shot just for the heck of it. I'm not big into Monster Hunter but since you mentioned that it is more 'actiony' I will give it a try.

Yeah, it's much more "actiony". It's faster, crazier. Monster Hunter always felt rather slow. In Toukiden you can even do aerial combos and crazy stuff like that.
