Differences between Ghost vs Black Ops vs World at War?

I've played Black Ops, and World at War but I haven't played Ghost yet. I know World at War you have more weapons and Black Ops is like more arcade-like with the smaller maps, I believe. What's so good about Ghost and should I really drop 50 bucks on it?

Ghosts is pretty much nothing like either of those games.

Good
better hit detection
game play mechanics fell good
you kill quickly

bad
people are afraid to die quickly and corner camp more in this game than ever before
some maps are way too big.

Overall I like this game the most out of any COD I have played, but thats just my opinion. Some people seem to really hate it. I suggest you rent it before buying.

People say it's just the same game (multiplayer) recycled every year but I'd say that's only half right.

Before Ghosts I'd never really been one for sniper rifles, but the maps here seem to be geared up to make certain types of play redundant on selected maps. Stonehaven for example, CQC is a waste of time, you'll just get picked off from the other side of a map while making a charge. Then reverse that for say Strikezone where a sniper rifle would serve very little use.

Only my opinion obviously an others may disagree, ironically one thing ghosts has made me want is to revisit older games and play with a sniper rifle on MW2 etc.
