DmC Devil may Cry

I just got DmC on PS+ because it was free :P but are the graphics of this game mediocre? Or am I used to playing PS4 games? Don't get me wrong I'm actually having a blast playing but have noticed the graphics are way bellow average.

Anyway, I'm just curious is all.

I played a bit of it,its not my thing but graphics look OK to me,not cutting edge but better than some.

The graphics are solid. It really depends on the "graphical company" DmC has (what other significant games came out around the same time or at that period in the PS3 and what their graphics were like). If it looks drastically out of league with games from around its time it's going to seem like it should've been released at the beginning or middle of PS3's run.

I also downloaded this game when it was free for PS+. The animations are pretty great, but the faces of the characters don't look that great during the close-up cut scenes. Also, there's a lot of sharp edges. I wouldn't say the graphics are bad, but they aren't amazing either. Smooth gameplay is the most important part of action games like DMC, so that's the aspect of the game that I would concentrate the most on.

I thought the graphics were decent. They weren't awful or anything and the as Unlosing Ranger stated, the style still shined even with graphics that didn't deliver as they should've.

I actually prefer this type of graphic than the realism type. I think making it stylistic only adds charm to it. Granted, I've never really paid that much attention the the graphic quality of games anyway, but this game's graphics is far from being terrible, IMO. It just isn't realistic.
