I asking because they three Stalker games have to be my favorite shooter series on Steam. I've spent over 160+ hours in all three of them combined and used just about every good mod I could find to mix them up.
Here's my story, I had recently bought Pripyat and Clear Sky during a Steam sale. I decided that I'd play Clear sky first since it was the prequel, I died too many times to be proud of on the first darn mission you get.
So you have your pistol and you need to get a little watchtower to help out some guy in trouble, there are about 3 or 4 of the weakest enemies in the game walking around and I Just could not manage to kill them; so I stopped playing for a couple days simply because I was angry. I'd like to point out there is no tutorial for any of these games, I had finally managed to kill the mutants and climb the tower. The guy on the radio then procceded to yell at us to get to cover but there was nothing around so I just ducked in the tower, one of the surges hit and I had thought I somehow died again. Luckily I was just knocked unconsious and contined the game from there.
Also with Pripyat I installed mod that was suppose to fix a bunch of problems the original game had but it ended up screwing me over in the end; I was nearing the very end area when the person I had to talk to just frozed and did nothing, ever other person was perfectly fine but this one guy would be either frozen or not there at some points. I am currently waiting for the mod to finish so I can restart Pripyat and hopefully finish it this time.
