Doubts on using PS4 in country where it's not released.

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to buy a PS4 from US and bringing it back to India with me. I know that the games are region free but i have certain doubts.

I'll be able to play the games but what about the DLC (downloadable content). Would that be available for a PS4 bought from US but used in different country?

Also, i saw that the blu-ray movie player wont work as it is region locked, is this temporary or permanent?
