Download Amazon purchased PS4 game

New here. My wife bought me a PS4 for my 66th birthday, as well as a game that we need to download, through Amazon. The lady at Amazon help said not to download it through Sony, but to download it through their site? Pretty confused. Any help available?

Hello, welcome to the Forum.

A downloadable game normally is obtained by a code that you use inside the PSN Store from your PS4.
So I think that from Amazon you will only get the code. Try to make what the lady said and see if it works.
