Dualshock 4 microphone

Hello all just got a quick question, I have a px4 headset and there still is no blueetooth support, I like using the mic but it is a pain sometimes with the cord and me switching controllers.

I came up with a idea and wanted to know if it would work and what size jack adapter i would need.

The px4 headset has a removable microphone , The jack does not fit in the controller but i was wondering what if it could.
Then i can use my px4 headset without the cord being a issue and still getting the functionality of the microphone.

If i am able to do it when what kind of jack adapter will i need a 3.5mm to a *****mm ?

Please let me know if this will work and if there will be any problems with the mic not being in the headset instead being in the controller.

Thanks Guys

Is it just not working at all...? It should work. My friend's works just fine...

Of course the controller works.
Everything works, I just want to make it the way i want, i think it will be better that way.

I only want to plug a microphone into the dualshhock 4, not a whole headset or a microphone and speaker, ONLY a small microphone, while still getting functionality from my bluetooth headset.

The px4 like i said has a detachable microphone, its a flexy type, and the jack that plugs the microphone into the headset itself has a different size jack then the one on the controller, the only way to use the mic tho in online game is to use the cable , so by plugging the microphone not in the headset but in the controller, I want to get functionality out of both.

I just want to make sure i can do this, and what size jack adapter i would need.
