Error CD-30774-1 occurs when you replace the PS4 500gb hard drive with another hard drive that isn't supported by the PS4. How do you fix this you ask? Well, simple use a hard drive that is supported by the PS4!
The hard drive must be a 2.5" hard drive. It can be either an HDD or a SSD (solid state drive), but cannot be any taller than 9.5mm. The capacity must be at least 160gb - realistically, why would you ever want to install a hard drive smaller than that anyways? After you get the new hard drive in, you'll want to make sure that you re-install the system software as well.
