Eternal Sonata

If there are any classical music lovers here, you will probably love Eternal Sonata. It takes place with a dream that Chopin has in the final hours of his life. The soundtrack is Chopin so the music should be great.

I've heard really good things about Eternal Sonata! I don't really know what it's about, though. Do you actually play as Chopin? What's the gameplay like?

The plot seems really complicated which is fantastic. It sounds like something you could play forever without outgrowing it. There are about 13 characters including Allegretto, Serenade, Crescendo, and Viola. Chopin is one of the characters and, as part of the game, it's his dream that creates the other characters. There's a lot of internal and external conflict and action. It really sounds fabulous.

That really does sound like a fun game! I think a friend of mine was trying to get me to play it a while ago, but he didn't explain it very well and so I thought it was just some weird game. :P

I don't usually go for games that are that complicated but if it teaches me about classical music at the same time I'm game (excuse the pun). If I get stuck I'll have my 10yr old nephew play it for a week and then he can explain it to me!

Eternal Sonata is really unique. Now, I'm not really a JRPG expert, but I have played my fair share. I thoroughly enjoy them in general. This game was a pleasure to play with the beautiful graphics, engaging combat, art style, and the fantastic music.

I've heard good things too, but I still haven't gotten around to playing it. I almost bought it once, but I ended up saving my money for something else. Now that I have a PS3 I have the option of either console, but it seems to be much less expensive on the 360 from what I can tell.

Really incredible JRPG. It's one of those games that makes me think that people should look further past the art style and try out the games.
I also recommend Valkyria Chronicles, another unique JRPG that is worth checking out.

Criminally underrated RPG. There were way too many like this that were overlooked and it's such a shame because they were all fantastic, especially this one.
