Fallout: New Vegas

I just picked this game up at EB today for $20. I've been wanting it since it came out, but after reading about all the glitches decided to wait until I could buy a much cheaper used copy.

I haven't tried it yet, but I loved Fallout 3 and expect to enjoy this game too. For those who have played it, what did you think? Any game-breaking bugs to watch out for?

I would love to know this information, too. I absolutely loved Fallout 3, and have been wanting to buy New Vegas, for a while. Gamergirl, come back and tell us how the game compares, to the last one.

Take the "Wild Wild Wasteland" perk. If you started the game without it, start a new game and take it. It makes for a rather hilarious playthrough.

LittleSister - I have to admit I'm way too far in the game to want to start over! But I'll consider it on my next playthrough. I figured it would just be really gross though. I'm not squeamish but preferred to take something that will help me in the game.

That said, so far I'm LOVING it. I definitely see that it isn't quite polished...walking around is glitchy with frequent half a second freezes but it certainly doesn't make it unplayable. I'm sick and actually had yesterday to do nothing but try this game...Let me tell you, the only other games in recent years that kept me so engaged with Dragon Age: Origins (didn't like number 2) and Fallout 3. For $20 it's a great experience.
