Freshly installed SSD, & now...

Installed an SSD (WD Black) into my PS5
Easier than waking up.
When formatting, there was an option to put all games/data/apps
on either the PS5's memory or the new SSD
It was shown on 2 separate lines.
Only question(s) I have/had...

Is there any drawbacks to changing this setting?
Can I set the two lines to different settings?

There is no difference in putting your PS5 games into the new SSD. The only thing Sony discourages, strongly discourages moving PS5 games to EXTERNAL hard drives, because of the "read/write" speeds on PS5.

However, putting PS4 games into the EXTERNAL drive is not an issue.
