Has Sony indicated anywhere that if you hook up an external hard drive whether you will be able to choose on a game by game basis where you will install your games? I’m hoping of course that all my PS5 games will be stored on the internal hard drive while the majority of my PS4 games can be stored on the external hard drive. I MAY want to store one or two of my most played PS4 games on the internal hard drive and I am hoping for that option on a game by game basis. I would even accept it automatically installing my PS4 games to an external and PS5 games internally.
The problem is I have about 6TB of PS4 games so no matter how big of internal drive is eventually available for the PS5 it will likely be many years before a fast enough and large enough one is available for my entire collection.
