Goodbye's subforum

Hey,

I thought maybe it would be a good idea to have a 'goodbye' subforum. Sometimes people who are part of a community need to take time offline for a couple of weeks e.g. exams, school, work and personal problems and I think it would be nice if we could post a thread letting people know we'll be gone.

I think this would add to the community feel and be beneficial in some ways. I don't see the forum being overly active but I think it will serve purpose.

I dont see it would get used much myself.
If they go for a while for whatever reason most would just go without posting about it,as they may need to go for while unexpectedly too.And its not like they would get banned for not being here and not posting in the forum,people are free to come and go as they please.
And if/when they come back they often post a 'Im back' topic in the intro section,so that suffices in my opinion.

I have to agree with everything Oberon has said. Most people would just leave without saying anything so it would be a waste of forum space.

You do make a valuable point that it wouldn't be used a lot.
