Great games I never played: Gungrave

Sometimes I wonder why the hell did I miss this game. It's stylish, over the top, and the protagonist kicks ass! I remember that a lot of critics and gamers have been complaining about the games length. Still I consider it to be one of the gems that the PS2 has in its library. Have you tried playing this game? Did you have fun?

If it is the same Gungrave which is based on the anime (or is it the other way around?) then I am pretty sure it's awesome. The anime is one of the better anime of the whole 'undead protagonist kills people' variety. Brandon Heat (the protagonist) had an awesome character design in the anime. If this video is anything to go by, things are pretty similar in the game. Will have to check it out if possible?

I had heard of gungrave, but I had never played it. Now I wish I had played this game. I saw gameplay and it looks like it is an awesome game. I'm thinking about trying to find this game so that I can play it. I just don't understand why I didn't get this game then.
