GTA San Andreas

What's the best way to make money? Is it the drug dealers that drop 2000 or doing deliveries for the Food Mart? I usually just play through to see how far I can get but others have told me to do these extra things along the way.

It's good to do extra-things along the way. That's my approach as well. There are various ways to make some money in GTA San Andreas. My favorite techniques are: burglary, taxi, horse races, train missions, ambulance missions, fire truck missions and pimping missions.

Thanks, I guess I'm just old-school. Go through it and when I learn it well enough go back and try missions. I'll try it your way. Any other advice would be welcome.

First off let me declare my love for San Andreas lol. I think the best way to make money in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is to complete the missions. They are by far the best way to get paid in San Andreas.

If you are early in the game and need some easy and quick money, try the horse racing. Go save your game at the closest save point, bet all your money on a horse with the dumbest name, and watch the money roll in. If your horse doesn't win, reset and repeat. It's tedious but easy.

This was the first Grand Theft Auto I had ever played, I have actually bought this game several times, both on PS2 and PC - it is just an amazing game and always enjoyed playing around with the cheats.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was the longest game that I have ever played was on my PlayStation 4. I played this game periodically for about 2 1/2 years, before I reached the end of the game. The contents of the game are large in my opinion and the missions are fun to play. Some missions were difficult to pass though, and so I would stop playing for a month or so, then I would resume playing again. San Andreas is also my favorite Grand Theft Auto game. Love this game!!! :)

Without a doubt it was one of my favorites. But I never beat it. The game was just so damn big it made it hard for me to keep investing time.

I love this game it is still my favorite gta. I feel when they came out with the swimming aspect and tings cj could do it made it so much better. I loved the storyline of the game and i could play it over and over again.

This game is definitely one of the greatest games of all time. Comparing San Andreas to Vice City, San Andreas is much more evolved and the content of the game is bigger. San Andreas is the most sold game on the PlayStation 2. I have been playing this game most of my entire life but never had the time to beat it myself.

San Andreas is a really cool game and I can't stop playing it right now. I even considered blowing off work so that I could finish a level that had been stumping me.

Burglery was always good and it earned a ton of money but I always loved doing the Taxi missions because it was basically crazy taxi.

I dont think i ever did this. I wasnt even aware that this was possible

I think that the way that I used to make my money on that game was that I would just do burglaries. I would also do lots of stuff on the side that were able to bring me in some money. I just wished on thing though that the things that you could have done on this game you would be able to do in the new GTA games. I honestly think though that San Andreas was a really good GTA game.

I'm probably going to be pretty unpopular for saying this but I never really got into GTA: San Andreas and it's hard for me to put down into words as to why. I'll try and explain…!

Firstly the positives - As already stated, this game was simply huge. The amount of activities you could do in this away from the main missions was simply mind blowing. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's been repeated on quite the same scale by Rockstar since. I recall it had an impressive map too and there was lots to see around the place. You could quite happily play this and nothing else for months on end.

The downsides? There were perhaps too much to do away from the main storyline. I adore bonuses and additional perks, but even by my standards this was going perhaps just a little too far… They simply took too much time – especially the business of going to the gym. It become very irritating, very quickly. I didn't get into the whole 'gangland culture' business either and having to regularly defend territories. I found this to be overly intrusive and there were occasions where I genuinely struggled to understand what was being said in cut-scenes due to the strong accents. I just couldn’t get into it no matter how hard I tried.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge GTA fan and have done them all – including the 2D early games and the London expansion pack thingy. San Andreas just happens to be one which left me feeling a bit…well…'cold'. It's so far the only GTA game I've never gone back to after completing the main story.
