Have you ever bought a DLC season pass for a game?

As in, buying DLC for a game before the DLC is released, usually for a discounted price.

I did once with Borderlands 2. I loved the first game, and was really looking forward to the second, so I kind of figured I'd get a lot of play out of it. As it happened, I played it so much for a couple of months that I couldn't take any more, so I've yet to play the third and fourth expansions. One day I'll no doubt come back to the game, so I'll still have the DLC available, but I do think it may have been a bit of a mistake to buy a season pass.

I have for Battlefield, The Last of Us and Bioshock: Infinite. Honestly, the season passes are worth it. It offers gamers more content in the long run for less price and the devs make all that money before it's ever lost. If that makes sense?

Season passes are a way to nickle and dime gamers just like disc locked content. I only buy a season pass if the games online is revolutionary. Even after that I feel guilty for doing that because it supports many thing wrong with gaming. But thats just my opinion.

I did for MW3 and was fine with it and then I did with Black Ops2 and for that game I wish I didnt. Not that the game was bad its just by the time the last pack came out Id had enough of the game months earlier.
As for Ghosts,I dont plan too either.

I usually buy Season passes for games I plan on playing over the winter. My job provides me with a lot of downtime in the winter.
