Have you ever gotten a warning off of Playstation?

Hello,

Has anyone ever got a warning off of Playstation, either an email warning, ban or suspension?

Just thought it would be interesting to see if anyone has ever gotten a warning as I hear that Playstation are quite strict on a lot of these things.

I've had just an email warning one month ago for telling someone on Call of Duty: AW to F off because they kept team killing my entire team on HC search and destroy and the guy reported me. I've had the account for a long time so to get a warning at this stage is kind of saddening but I've learnt from it.

Thankfully I haven't. But then again I stay off multiplayer and stick to single-player mostly.

Seems odd you got a email regarding ONE report. I thought it would take a few reports for them to warn you.

I saw several COD MP matches online, the F word is a regular, I dont think its a case for warning? or maybe thats Xbox live...

Anyway I dont play online MP(even when it was free on PS3) so no warning for me.

Its because I sent it via the messaging system, swearing via chat is allowed but via messaging, if someone reports it then you can get a warning.

Instead of telling them to F off you should have reported them for cheating,since you could say that's what team killing is.
I havent checked what the CoD AW in game report options are,perhaps there is a better option?

Another reason why Sledgehammer should have made hardcore mode hardcore ricochet.So if someone kills team members 'they' die,rather than the team members they are shooting.

They do have cheating and one of exploiting but generally speaking, for team killing they won't do anything because you see the same culprits all the time since PS4 AW fan base is lower and with HC its even lower, so I decided to use some vigilante justice lol.

In my experience, COD online has been awful. Teenagers yelling the most absurd things at one another. Some twisted stuff really.

The problem with CoD, which can be said about any game. Is the amount of people young and old who have no respect for each other. CoD is being targeted specifically because the game seems to draw out the worst in people who play it. Nothing wrong with the game, its the community that gives it a bad rap. Its sad to see how people treat each other.

Derri, I wouldn't really worry about it too much. It was probably just an automated warning system. You usually have to do it a lot or pretty drastically to get any kind of real reprimand. Telling someone to **** off I would think is a pretty common occurrence in online gaming and I doubt they would do anything unless you got multiple reports on you in a small amount of time.

Kinda childish on that guy's part to report you. He acts like a jackass, you curse him off then he runs and tattle tales you. It's that immaturity that gives us gamers a bad reputation.

Funny how I havent noticed this on AW and Im prestige 2 now.
Why? Easy,normally Id mute others but it can get tiresome doing that all the time so just set your chat to 'prioritise party' (even if you are by yourself) and you will never hear them and be bothered.
So now its no bother to me ,I suggest do the same.

Dont worry,I have had that too in previous CoDs but with PS4's party chat option is very easy to not be bothered by these people.
And if you are worried about messages from randoms dont forget you can always set that so you dont get messages from non friends.
