Have you guys seen the unboxing of the PS4 on Youtube?

It's on the official PlayStation Youtube channel and it is just amazing. It's the one where the guy with the gloves is in a server room and there's a light shining on a blue box on top of the main circuit board. He takes out everything little by little and show the camera, the PS4 being the last thing he takes out of course. What are your thought on the unboxing?

It's an awesome video but I kinda want an in-deep unbox because 1:26 felt too short.

Is anyone completely uninterested in seeing the 'unboxing' or is it only myself? I would prefer the surprise and the fun of not knowing a visual thing about it until the moment I reveal it to myself. You seldom get surprises anymore from products.

This particular one is an exception to me, because it's just that type of product, in my opinion, and the unboxing is professionally done by the official company itself. Generally, however, I'd only ever watch an unboxing video of products that I'll probably never buy and in the same vein, I almost only ever watch or read reviews of movies I'd probably never watch. It's the best compromise, in my opinion, I get to satisfy my curiosity without having the hassle of having to pay for it or test it out myself.

I agree. I'd rather wait till I get one and open it for myself and see all the goodies inside. So I'm avoiding all these unboxing vids for the PS4.

I thought that it was a good video. It just showed more info on the PS4 and tried to hype us up for the release. Although I do have to say that I liked the Wii U unboxing better. Nothing is as good as Iwata with the white gloves. Still IGN did a good job getting attention for the console and giving a shoutout to the fans. But IGN didn't show us anything that we didn't already know.
