Is anyone else excited for this? The first two Oddworld games were an integral part of my childhood. My brothers and I quoted them all the time.
This game is supposed to be a remake of the first game with "cinematic one to one scale" CGI. Oddworld has a great visual style, so this should be a treat.

Recently my boyfriend and I downloaded one of the Oddworld games off of the PSN for the PS3 and I think it's kind of cute, though dark. I think we'll be picking it up because he was a big fan of the series.

As much as I'd love another Oddworld, I think this is a good decision from a business standpoint. Just think that with the money they get from this HD remake, they'll be able to have more money to fund the next installment in the series. Plus it'll most likely fix the control issues I had with the original game.
