Hello from Scotland

Hello everyone joined this forum to hopefully meet some fellow gamers and keep up with some ps4 chat. So i'm in my early 30s, live in Scotland and have played games most of my life.Systems i've had are spectrum 128k, game boy, nes ,mega drive/genesis, snes, xbox, xbox360, ds, wii, ps1, ps3, psp, ps vita and ps4. Got my ps4 at launch with shadow fall and nfs rivals. since then i've had a drop in will power and bought ghosts. Want to get more games but I had to buy a 1080p monitor to go with the ps4 so no money left just now. Play most nights with my mic on when the family allows it hopefully will get a game with some of you. Feel free to send me an add or just get in contact

the 128k died long ago, lost the game boy, sold the nes not that long ago on ebay for a surprising amount, still got the mega drive, sold the snes, still got xbox it works some of the time, first 360 red ring of death second one got traded for the vita,traded in ds and wii, still got ps1 and psp, first ps3 yellow light of death still got it somewhere to fix with heat gun..maybe, second ps3 traded in, vita goes pretty much everywhere I go and ps4 pride of place in the man corner of my lounge.

Hey Marty! Welcome to the forum Scotland, eh? I'd love to make it there one of these days. Dads side of the family is from Edinburgh and I have some distant family there.

Holy smokes, I'm your age and I thought I had owned a lot of systems, but you win! So, since the 360 got traded for the Vita, I take it you're sticking strictly with Sony for the console wars?

Hey jstep thanks for the welcome yeah I think Sony have done good with the vita and ps4 (he said ignoring launch title problems). I think the vita is the first handheld with the kind of performance I really want in a hand held. With the ps4 I did sway towards it at first announcement of the next gen but I think it's more that Microsoft and the xbox one pushed me away from them and towards the ps4 over the build up too release. Sony made a games console with media extras but Microsoft mad a media box which also plays games. Also Edinburgh if you do make it over either aim for when the festival is on or new years eve both big events in the city.
