How Much Did You Spend on Your Gaming PC

I have a Dell laptop. It is a mid-range gaming laptop. I bought it two years ago for about $1500. I am planning to custom-build a gaming desktop computer. Based on the specs I have in my mind, the PC is going to cost me between $2000-$3000.
