John Cleese and Jennifer Hale join Elder Scrolls Online cast

Bethesda has confirmed the list of talent providing voice acting for The Elder Scrolls Online. Monty Python star John Cleese will play Cadwell, the "cheerful and endearingly mad lost soul who is not afraid of anyone, even a Daedric Prince".

Meanwhile, Bill Nighy will voice High King Emeric, "a merchant prince whose luck and determination won him the throne".

Other stars include Kate Beckinsale as Queen Ayrenn (the leader of the Aldmeri Dominion), Alfred Molina as Abnur Tharn (a "wily old wizard and politician"), and Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter as Azura, the Daedric Princess of Dusk and Dawn.

You know when a game is serious when they use well known actors to provide voices

Is this John Cleese's second game where he has provided voice acting? I seem to remember he was in Fable III?

That's a pretty epic all-star cast of voice actors.

That's pretty much the best voice acting team you could hope for. I mean there's no Tim Curry, Christopher Lee, Mark Hamil, or Tara Strong, but that's still an extremely strong lineup.

I would love if Tim Curry and Christopher Lee were on the voice acting team. Tara Strong (and Cree Summer) pops up in a bunch of projects. I wouldn't be surprised if she was in ESO.
