Just got a PS4 but need help

Hi

Ive just got a PS4 and i absolutely love it. Its brilliant....BUT i am having a problem with the party chat. I can plug the headset/mic into the controller and i can hear the person on the other side but they cant hear me. All settings are enabled and the mic is picking up my voice, just the other person cant hear me. Am i missing something? I am on talktalk and i have heard the firewall can cause problems, is this the case and if so what do i need to do to sort this problem.

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Have you just tried it with one friend or more? Could it be a problem their end?
