Long story short, me and my girlfriend went kayaking last summer and we really enjoyed it. We're both interested in each buying a kayak. Been doing some research on it. Found one I liked but it's kinda on the pricey side. Open to other suggestions. We still need to figure out what she needs. Anyone have experience with this? Any advice on what to look for in a kayak?
My personal requirements (for me)
-enough dry storage for a possible overnight camping trip
-tracks well and is maneuverable
-can go up to 14'
-optional: cupholders. Gotta hold my beer somehow

-small enough to handle but not too small
-she can get out of it if it flips
-at least one dry storage compartment
